Medical expert, citizen detainees are showed in a local register

 Local register in Lahj province, has showed a
list of people detained through the military campaign lunched in the beginning
of last month.As the statement reported arresting citizens as
hostages, it included names of university professors.The list also included the medical expert, and
the previous manager of the Malaria Programme, Dr. Mohammed Saeed Amer (70 year
old), who suffers from the heart disease.Yemeni authority keeps tens of citizens in
prisons, as a result of bloody clashes between police and angry rioters in the
city of Al-Houta,
center of Lahj provincePrisoners have been distributed between the
central prison and the jail of the Criminal Search Department.Tens of citizens have been arrested in the
Criminal Search Department, among them:1-Gamal Farei.2-Taeq Abdulgaleil Radman.3- Alawi Ali Ben Ali Sa'ad4- Nabeil Mohammed Ahmed Al-Doudahi.5- Dr. Mohammed Saeed Amer. (70 years – hostage
until his son surrenders himself)6- Moamer Mohammed Saeed Amer. (hostage until
his brother surrenders himself).7- Methaq Mohammed Saeed Amer. (hostage until
his brother surrenders himself8- Wail Mohammed Saeed Amer. (hostage until his
son surrenders himself).9- Amar Aud Saleh.10- Khaled Mohammed Saeed Manei.11- Abdullah Ali Auad.12- Anees Auad Saleh.13- Abdullah Muftah Ali.14- Jamal Khaderiani.15- Tarq Abdu Muneiam.16- Tamam Tamim Abadi.17- Mohammed Salem Hassan Saleh.18- Rabei Abraham Hassan. (hostage)19- Hassan Ali Seif. (hostage).20- Sabri Ali Hassan.21- Saeed Ahmed Saleh.22- Faisal Mohammed Farah. (hostage)Yemeni army besieges some southern cities and
towns since the beginning of the recent moth, in harmony with a suspension of
cellular phone services.Yemeni authority jails hundreds of Southern
Movement's activists and supporters in local prisons, and some of them have
been moved to the Yemeni capital "Sana'a", to be judge on the charge
of spreading spirit of hatred, and harming the national unification. |
